Round Up: Task Lighting

Today we did a round up of task lighting for every corner of your house! Task lights are considered a jack of all trades because they fit in just about anywhere, both functionally and visually. Task lighting is a more functional design so it’s perfect for any space you need focal lighting, whether that’s curling up on a chair to read a book or working late in the office. We love to use them next to reading chairs, in our office areas, or on a wall next to the bed. Task lighting is usually more structural and has a lighter visual feel to them, so they’re a great way to mix things up in a space or make a statement. They generally have smaller shades or have shades made of a metal material so it can be great to mix them into a space that has other shades lights you’re wanting to compliment. Because of their thin silhouettes, task lights are easy to fit into smaller spaces where you want to add some height and light but don’t have the room to add larger lighting options. We’ve gathered all of our favorite designs that are so versatile and can be incorporated just about anywhere!
