Station Park Project: Primary Suite

We’re continuing the tour of the Station Park Project with the Primary Suite. Modern design can often feel more masculine because of the harsh contrasting colors and sharp angles. Because this space is shared by a husband and wife, it was important that they both felt comfortable and that their individual tastes were represented. The strong lines and dark colors were softened with linen textures, lighter tones, and curved lines to create a mix of both feminine and masculine details.

Their bathroom suite finishes were previously selected within the spec build process. The white and chrome finishes had a modern design, but felt cold and flat with the cooler tones of the selections. We added functional decor to the counter with canisters to hold bathroom goods and greenery that added color and life. There was a large empty space near the shower that was a perfect spot for this leather and wood bench and stacked artwork. This modern furniture piece helped the space feel more warm, custom and functional.
