Friday Faves

1. Currently working on a project that is close to my heart and been recently dreaming up the exterior design. Using this beautiful image from Doran Taylor and Baros Design as inspiration and so excited to see it come together!

Here are a few more selections in the works that would go along with the warm stone and white exterior.

2. We’ve already shared 3 blogposts from our Station Project in the past couple weeks and so excited to share more. Until then, read about the Living Room here, the Kitchen, Dining, and Entry here, and find the latest post on the Primary Suite here!

3. We’re excited about the recent color trend where bold tones and rich colors are taking center stage. This Burgundy color has been a favorite lately and I love how these designers have made that statement by adding depth and sophistication to these spaces.

4. Faux plants are somewhat of a staple in my own home as well as my clients. Our Station Park Project serves as a vacation home when our clients come and visit family and enjoy the snowcapped mountains during the winter. Because they aren’t home year round, we couldn’t source live plants that needed constant nourishment to survive. We still wanted to have the life and color that come from having plants incorporated into the design, but had to source faux plants with zero upkeep. We mixed up the type of faux plants by filling vases with stems, adding drop-in plants we into pots and placing faux trees into baskets. Here are some good options that you can use if you want to fool the eye and look alive while not worrying about keeping them alive!

5. Our designer spotlight for this week is @WhittneyParkinson! I am obsessed with Whittney and have been ever since I started my design journey. She has been someone I look up to in the way she balances being a mom, a wife, and a designer. I love her approach to design and every space is actual perfection! Check out her instagram handle above to see more of her work.

Cheers to the weekend!
