Station Park Project: Bedrooms & Bathrooms
The final spaces we are showcasing of the Station Park Project include the guest bedrooms and bathrooms. This project serves as a second home for our clients, where they can join family in the local area and enjoy time together. These spaces are also where their kids and friends can stay when they are all in town visiting, so it was important we made these areas comfortable and functional for them.
These bedrooms needed to work for family members of all ages and stages of life. This first space will welcome men and women so we incorporated details and colors that will represent everyone. We added contrast in this space with a darker grey bed and incorporated soft grey textiles to create a soft palette. This home resides in Utah and is nestled close to the mountains, so we wanted the art in this space to reflect the project’s surroundings. To balance the grey and white tones, we went with warm wood nightstands with a modern design. A cozy corner was just what this room needed for a spot to rest and to complete the final look.
This bathroom in the guest room was a bright space to work with but had very simple finishes. We added some warmth and life with these functional baskets and olive tree.
This second bedroom is designated for their grandkids and young adults in the family to have their own place to stay. We wanted this space to feel cohesive with the rest of the home with the modern design and neutral colors, but added in blues and patterns to make it feel more playful.
The powder bath and laundry got a facelift with artwork and decor to help everything feel more comfortable and finished. We stacked modern art pieces above the toilet and added a large clock above the laundry sink to add some personality and tie in with the modern design of the home. Adding color through decor, greenery and towels was a great way to brighten this space up!
